Mark Douglas TenHoopen of Byron Center MI, formerly of Grand Rapids MI, age 51, entered heaven on Tuesday May 10th, 2022. He was born to Marvin and Sally (Brom) TenHoopen on August 7 1970 in East Grand Rapids MI.

Mark was a graduate of Kenowa Hills High School class of 1988. He then went on to work for American Seating where he did manufacturing before moving to Texas and recently back home to Michigan.

Mark loved the Lord and truly had a servant's heart. He encouraged others through their struggles. He also had deep connection with his purple Twitter family where he enjoyed reminiscing about Prince, Star Wars and inspired others through his faith.

Mark is survived by his parents, Marvin and Sally (Brom) Tenhoopen; sister, Julia (Tenhoopen) Goodyke; brother-in-law, Michael Goodyke; niece, Courtney Goodyke; nephew, Brandon Goodyke as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle.

The funeral service for Mark will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday May 21 at Cascade Christian Chapel at 2829 Thornapple River Dr SW Grand Rapids MI 49546.
