On March 26, 2019, with profound sadness we lost Marion Banfill (Burg) age 87, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched. She was a dedicated wife to James D. Banfill and they were inseparable for over 67 loving years. Surviving are her children James (Patti, Marcia), Randy (Maria), Thomas (Sandy) and Robert.; grandchildren, Lani (Raymond) Lowing, Lindsay (James) Smith, Jon Banfill, and Grace Banfill; great-grandchildren, Kyla, Remington, Leticia, Nevaeh and Marcello. Her remaining siblings, Jimmy (John) Burg and Genevieve Vandyke also survive her. Marion enjoyed nature walks and bird watching. She also loved arts and craft projects as well as crocheting and ceramics. She enjoyed viewing and reminiscing over family photos, and had a strong spiritual connection with our Lord. Most of all, she loved her family and instilled in her sons strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. The family will be honoring Marion's wishes for an intimate funeral with her immediate family members only. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days.
