Mari Catherine Walton, age 63, was called to her heavenly home on Friday afternoon, February 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, David Reda; brother, Steven Reda and grandmother, Harriet Gates. Mari is survived by her husband, Don Walton; sister, Susan Marlatt; brother, Mark Reda; step-son, Brian and his wife, Denise Valentine; nieces and nephews, Sean Kubasiak, Steph Casemier, Jamie Hillard, Jeffrey Thompson, Kaleigh Thompson and Tristin Marlatt. Mari is also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law. Mari loved her animals and was a graduate of the New York School of Pet Grooming. Mari also owned and operated Pampered Pet Salon in Grand Rapids for two decades. She was very active at Sunset Park Church of God where she taught the children in the Shining Stars Sunday School class.
