Devoted wife and loving Mother, Marguerite F Strayer passed away peacefully at home with her family close by on the morning of Tuesday, December 28th. Her life and last days were surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by unconditionally loving others, cherishing family and living their lives to the fullest.

Born in Dewitt, MI on May 21, 1928, to the Blizzard family, Marguerite always shared many fond memories of growing up on a farm with loving parents and a large close family. After moving to Lansing, she met Donald Strayer and married on June 13th, 1959.

Marguerite is survived by her husband of 62 years who together, raised their 3 children in the Lord Jesus Christ, Karen (Kevin) DeShone, Lisa (Eric) VanDerhoof and Dwight (Karen) Strayer. She enjoyed 8 beautiful grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A private family graveside ceremony is planned to honor her legacy and recall all the lives that her kind spirit has touched. Service Details.
