Margaret (Peggy) Ann Kerr was called home to our Lord on 4/19/2022 surrounded by her two sons and their wives, her sister, and two of her closest friends. Peggy was born on 9/16/1948 in Cambridge, OH to James and Margaret Burton, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Clawson High School, where she met and married William (Bill) Andrew Kerr.

They began their adventures in Royal Oak, MI, with stops in Florida, Arizona, Ohio, Texas, and eventually settled in Grand Rapids, MI. No matter where she was at, her focus was always on her family, be it her siblings, children, grandchildren, or friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Andrew Kerr. She is survived by her sons, Chad (Kim) Andrew Kerr and her favorite Matt (Tammy) Avery Kerr; grandchildren Brittany (Kenny) Alizabeth Phelps (and great grandson Emmett Alan Phelps), Mackenzie Annabelle Kerr, Chase Andrew Kerr, Tristan Avery Kerr, and Bryce Andrew Kerr; siblings Jim Burton, Brodie (Barb) Burton, Tim (Bernadette) Burton, and Karen (Jon) Lair, and many nieces and nephews.

She taught herself to play the guitar, piano, drums, and was a beautiful singer. She was a licensed real estate saleswoman and enjoyed playing golf. Her favorite activity was spending time with her grandkids (making french-toast for them) and doing puzzles.

Memorial services are to be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Ofield Funeral Home located at 4500 Kalamazoo Ave S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49508. Visitation from 1:30pm to 2:00pm, time of commencement 2:00pm (casual attire).
A celebration of life with friends and family will be held immediately after at Chad's lake house on Gun Lake. Service Details. Visitation
