Margaret Elise Hemond of Canadian Lakes, Michigan completed her mission on Earth and went home to her Lord and Savior on June 21, 2022, at the age of 81.

Margaret was the only child of Georgianna and Paul Guilbault. Her father Paul passed away when she was two years old. Family and friends were the life blood of Margaret and she had many of both. She was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Sr and her eldest son Robert Jr. She is survived by son Michael (Cheryl) Hemond and daughter Aline (Kevin) Armstrong. Grandchildren. Jessica (Chris)Beall, Andrea (Alec) Williams, Sydney (Peter)Johnson, Robert (Courtney)Hemond III, and Gabriellle Hemond as well as five great grandchildren in whom she took great delight. She was very close to her cousin Camille (Bill) Dekker.

She was known for being a great cook and entertainer. Margaret and Bob opened a Deli in their late 50's for a few years before retiring to live on the ocean in Cherry Grove Beach, South Carolina. After her husband passed, she moved to Canadian Lakes, Michigan to enjoy a wooded lot filled with a variety of wildlife.

There will be a funeral mass on August 4 th , 2022, at St. Mary Magdalen, 1253 52 nd Steet SE, Kentwood MI 49508 with visitation at 10:00 AM followed by mass at 11:00 AM. Service Details.
