Marcie Lucia Barrett of Lansing Michigan (formerly of St Johns Michigan) age 34 passed away 9/7/2021 after her long battle with brain cancer. She was born on December 11th 1986 in Lansing Michigan. Marcie was born the eldest of four children she attended St. John's schools then graduated from Fulton high School. She later received a license in cosmetology after graduating from the Douglas j Aveda institute. Marcie is survived by her loving fiance Adam Stackpoole, her three siblings Brandon Barrett, Brittnie Barrett and Monica (Barrett) Taggart. She is also survived by her mother Dorette (Herr) Goodwin, stepfather Steve Goodwin, step sister Allison (Goodwin) Cole and step brother Benjamin Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her father Kevin Barrett. The family would like to send a special thank you to Cindi Miller for all the love compassion and support over the past several years. The family would also like to thank Heartland Hospice for their compassionate Care and support over Marcie's final weeks. A celebration of life in Marcie's honor will be scheduled sometime in early December. The time and date will be announced on Facebook via Dorette Goodwin and Steve Goodwin.
