Marc P. Wilkinson, age 59, of Grand Rapids, died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his residence after a courageous nine-year battle with cancer. Marc was born February 20, 1958 in Grand Rapids, the son of George and Emily (Zozula) Wilkinson. He had been a lifelong resident of the Grand Rapids area, graduating from East Grand Rapids High School in 1976. On May 18, 1984, he was united in marriage to Linda (VanEe) Wilkinson. Marc was employed at Best Air for 21 years. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling, lounging in the the pool and watching his children and grandchildren compete in sporting events. He will be remembered as a fun-loving and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Marc is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Nicole (Patrick) Postma and Gregory (Kaylee) Wilkinson; three grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, and Emma Postma, along with many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family, friends and others whose lives Marc touched are invited to Ofield Funeral Home (4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49508) on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5-8 PM to celebrate Marc's life.
