Manuel "Manny Fresh" Mauricio of Grand Rapids Michigan passed away Monday morning June 10, 2019 at the early age of 48. Manuel was born to father Joseph Manuel Silva and mother Adalita Zertuche on July 29, 1970. Manuel was preceded in death by father Joseph Silva and brother Albert Zertuche. He is survived by his loving significant other Stephanie Coster; his sons, Manuel Mauricio Jr, Miguel Mauricio; granddaughters, Promyse and Memmorie; mother Adalita; sisters, Lupe (Robert) Rios and Raquel Mauricio (Blanca Santiago); brothers, Andrew (Juanita) Roybal and Jose Mauricio; his mother-in-laws, Lori Schroeder, Jill Coster and Beverly; father in-law Steve Coster; sister-in-law's, Janeal Johnson and Danielle Coster, and brother-in-law's Cody Coster and Aaron Johnson, along with many nieces and nephews. Manuel was a hardworking dedicated man who worked 21 years for Lacks Industries. In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars, yard work, planting flowers, housework and anything else to keep him busy. Manuel was loved by any person he came into contact with. He was very helpful and caring to all. He was so selfless through his sickness and worried more about the children and others fighting cancer. His wish was to be cremated . . . period. He did not want a funeral or viewing because he wanted everybody to remember him happy and healthy. He will be missed dearly and loved by all who knew him. We are so grateful to all our friends, family, neighbors and anybody else who has helped out along his battle with cancer.
