Madge went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2022 , at the age of 92. Born on April 26, 1930 in Corwith, Iowa, to John R. and Ruth L. (Brown) Camelin. At the age of five, her birth mother passed away and she was adopted by her step-mother, Orpha (Gorrell) Camelin.

Madge married Roger E. VanderWeide on January 9, 1954 at Wealthy Street Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is survived by her three children, Lynda (Jeff) Nelson, Catherine (Doug) Dusseljee and Chris (Karla) VanderWeide. Madge married Barton Bourdo on August 24, 1979 until his passing on May 4, 2009. Also survived by two step children, Rod (Peggy) Bourdo and Jonette Bourdo, eleven grandchildren and several great grand children.

Madge graduated from Corwith High School in 1947 and Grand Rapids Baptist Bible Institute in 1952.

In her early years she worked in the clerical field but after having her children, became a full time stay at home mom. Raising her three children was her greatest joy.

At a young age, Madge received the Lord Jesus as her Savior and was baptized. Through the years, she came to know the Lord in a real and personal way. It was her greatest desire that all her children and grandchildren would also come to know the Lord.

A memorial will be held on July 24, 2022 at Oakhill Cemetery, Orangeville, Michigan.
