Lylia Ann Blue of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on October 31, 2019. She was born December 22, 1949 to Lyle Wood, Sr. and Alice Doolittle. Alice passed away when Lylia was 6 and her dad remarried to Belva Wood who she considered her mom and loved her very much. Lylia had a large family with 2 brothers and 6 sisters. She loved reading, riding her motorcycle and decorating and baking for the holidays. She drove school bus in Kalamazoo as well as city bus for the City of Santa Rosa California. She also worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Kalamazoo. Lylia is survived by her daughter Bobbi Baucom (Teddy), her sons, Calvin Lincomfelt (Karen), James Grissom, and Henry Grissom (Samantha), grandchildren- Holly, Linsey Winchester (Zack), Mallory, Abby, Cali, Chasten, Jacob, Kyle, Matthew, Sabrina, Tyler and Lylia and 2 great grandchildren,- Noah and Bentlee, her brother Lyle Wood Jr. (Pat) and sisters Louise Pountain (Darryl), Shirley Powell (Michael), and Shelley Noyes as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Joan Goodes, Sandra Hoffman, Lillian Spohn and brother Otis Springer and one great grandson Jax. The family would like to thank Bronson Methodist Hospital for the care they gave her during her last days. Simply Cremation & Funeral Care is handling her cremation. As her family is wide spread across the U.S., there will not be a memorial service.
