Luella Peats, 90, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Faith Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

District Elder Dorian Richardson will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Pinehill Cemetery in Kentwood, Michigan.

Luella was born to the late John and Ada (Lee) McWright on December 24, 1931 in Winnfeild, Louisiana. Luella loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She loved working in her garden. She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church for over 40 years. She was a faithful member until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory to her children, Marilyn Agnew, Anthony (Rose) Peats, Marvin and Brenda Peats, Deborah Cumberbatch (Rex, GA), Monica (Tom) Julien, fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, four sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
