April 3, 2014 PALMERLEE- Louis M. Palmerlee at age 66, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his four children: Jennifer (Mike) Waltz, Sara Vilcans, Amanda (Mathew) Desmarais, Robert (Shawntel) Palmerlee; his loving fiancée Elisa Cheng and her children;former spouse, Sally Palmerlee; siblings, Georgia Ann Corwin, Dan (Peg) Palmerlee, Marilyn (Carl) Pratt; grandchildren, Anna, Nathan, Bradley, Hudson, Adam and Braden. He will be missed by four nephews, many cousins, mother of his children, past and present co-workers and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and George Palmerlee; brother-in-law Clarence Corwin. Lou loved fishing, golf, spending time with family, reading and playing with his grandchildren, old cowboy movies and action flicks, eating out, playing cards and games; along with telling and hearing jokes, Saturday morning coffee and walks. Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday April 5, 2014 at Kentwood Christian Church, 5841 Kalamazoo Ave., SE. The family will meet with friends and relatives Friday, from 5-8pm at the Ofield Funeral Home 4500 Kalamazoo Ave and 1 hour prior to the service at church.
