October 21, 2011 Service: October 23, 2011 Lorraine A. Ellis, aged 96 of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ellis. Lorraine is survived by her sons, Robert (Patricia) Ellis, Tony (Joan) Ellis; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; special nieces, Janice Maggini, Bernice Wing, several nieces, nephews, and close friends. A special heartfelt thank-you for Jenn, Taylor, Joel and the wonderful staff and the ladies at Rehoboth house for their wonderful care of Mom. Funeral services will be held 5:00pm Sunday, October 23, in the Ofield Funeral Home Chapel, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave, with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Rehoboth House, 8949 Clyde Park, and Byron Center, MI.
