Brittain, Lorna 8/28/1937 - 12/15/2020 Coopersville Lorna Rae (Niergarth) Brittain passed peacefully in her sleep December 15, 2020 at age 83. Rooted deeply in her faith, she joined her husband, Rex Brittain Jr. in Heaven. She is survived by her two children, Rex Brittain III and Vonda (Gregory) Jewett, as well as her beloved seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Raised in Evart, MI, Lorna lived the mojorty of her life in Coopersville, MI, where she was a devout and dedicated member of United Methodist Church. She retired from North Ottawa Community Hospital after over 24 years as a registered surgical nurse. Lorna was a life-long friend to many and a monarch to her family. Her family was most important to her and she enjoyed sharing her passion of the cullinary arts with them. Her bran muffin recipe will be passed on for many years to come. The love she shared with those in her life will live on and she will be missed dearly. A public visitation will be held at Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Chapel on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with a private family service to follow.
