Lori Estelle Marine, 63, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 following a brave fight with cancer. The beloved daughter of Judith M. Marine and the late Melvin I. Marine, Lori was born on October 1, 1962 in Takoma Park, Maryland. She is survived by her mother Judith, her sister Gail Mary Marine, and brothers David Paul Marine, Michael Ray Marine, and Bruce L. Marine Tanenbaum. She also leaves behind close friends in Grand Rapids and Maryland, whose grace and kindness is a testament to her own gentle spirit.

In her youth Lori was an avid equestrian. Her compassionate nature and attention to detail led her to work in healthcare. She had a lifelong love of animals, both domestic and wild, and over the years her pets were perhaps her greatest source of joy.
