Loren Sloan passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the age of 90. Loren was born on December 21, 1929, in St. Louis, MO, to Loren and Catherine.

Loren was an athlete who excelled in many sports, particularly baseball. He played ball for the St. Louis Cardinals' minor league team. Loren attended Wabash College in Indiana before enlisting in the US Navy during the Korean War. Upon leaving the Navy, Loren attended the University of Missouri, where he met and fell in love with Laurell. They were united in marriage in May 1957.

Loren worked as a manufacturer's agent during his career, but if you asked Loren, his greatest joy in life was being a loving husband and father. He thoroughly enjoyed time with his family and friends. One could always count on Loren to make you laugh, be supportive, be selfless and kind.

Loren was preceded in death by his wife, and is survived by his daughters Renee (Jeffrey) and Carol.

There will be a video conference memorial held in honor of Loren.
