December 27, 2013 Service: December 30, 2013 Lois Mae Bultema (Meyer) aged 90, passed peacefully into Eternity with her Savior on Friday, December 27, 2013. She was met in heaven by her husband of 57 years, Sidney (Bud) Bultema, son James Bultema, grandson Adam Bultema and sister Carole Datema. She is survived by her sons Douglas and Karen Bultema and Mark and Kay Bultema; daughter-in-law Phyllis Bultema Pisanelli; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Holly and Rob Kirkland (Harrison, Hunter, Heath and Henry), Tad and Sarah Bultema (Jacob and Anna), Steve Bultema (Mayzie), and Tim and Tolica Bultema (Kayla, Amanda, Elizabeth and Alyssa); brother-in-law Roy Datema. Lois was born Feb 7, 1923 in Grand Rapids and graduated from South High School. She married Sidney in 1943. They raised 3 boys and her career was in insurance accounting. She always kept busy with knitting, crochet, cross stitch or smocking. A special thanks goes to the caring 4th floor staff at Raybrook. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests the Holland Home Benevolent Fund. Lois and Bud were life long members of Fifth Reformed Church and Oakview Reformed Church. Services will be held at 11am Monday, December 30th, at Fifth Reformed Church, 2012 Griggs SE, officiated by Rev. Bruce Mulder. The family will greet friends and relatives at the church one hour prior to the service.
