Lisa K. (Middleton) Wheaton, 60, of Grand Rapids, passed away June 2nd, 2015 at her home. Lisa was born March 15, 1955 in Greenville, MI to Margaret and Gerard Middleton. She was a graduate of Belding High School, class of 1973. After high school she attended CMU for a few years, she majored in teaching. Lisa worked at Meijer as a cashier for 31 years, she retired in 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerard (1993), Margaret (2006) and son Shawn (1980). Lisa is survived by her two sons, Justin Petersen of Trufant, Matt, Pammie and Peyton Petersen of Fort Campbell Kentucky, sisters and brothers, Michele (Ricardo) Hernandez of Grand Rapids, Gregg Middleton of Grand Rapids, Colin Middleton of Boyne City, Celia Larsen of Belding, Jeanine Middleton of Grand Rapids, and Beth (Gary) Annable of Wayland. Lisa's favorite things in life were her two sons, daughter in law and grandson. Lisa loved being outside, gardening, house work and hanging around with family and friends. A service for Lisa will be announced later.
