Lester Warner Otto, age 83, a lifelong resident of South Haven entered into eternal peace with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 6, 2018 surrounded by family. Lester was born July 14, 1935, the son of the late Archibald and Vanna Otto. Lester loved and cherished his family and friends and was especially proud of all his children and loving wife Dorothy. Lester was a member of the Kibbie Christian Reformed Church, Michigan Travel Club and also the Retreads Motorcycle Club. During Lester's 39-year working career, he worked for National Motors Castings and Haworth. Lester was married to his sweetheart Dorothy for 61 years. Together they raised their 5 children and enjoyed their retirement years motorcycling, camping and spending winters at their home in Florida. Surviving are their 5 children: Dennis Otto, Steve (Kate) Otto, Mark (Sue) Otto, Doreen Bartholomew and Brenda (Rob) Victor; brother James (Pat) Otto and cousin Belvalu (Joe) Krizan. Lester cherished his 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are wife, Dorothy Otto, son in law David Bartholomew, cousins Ray Lockwood and Hiram Lockwood. Contributions may be made in Lester's memory to the Kibbie Christian Reformed Church or the Al-Van Humane Society. Visitation is Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Kibbie Christian Reformed Church, 479 County Road 687, South Haven, MI from 10 am to 11 am, with a memorial service immediately following at 11am.
