It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father, LeRoy Merritt Brandt, who left us on May 4th, 2024, at the age of 77. Surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments, he was a man who loved to talk to others, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by my beloved mom, Patrica Darlene Brandt (Balcom) on September 3rd, 2023, at the age of 71.  They had a passion for their family and their unwavering love for their god Jehovah will forever be remembered.

They are survived by their daughters Dawn (Nikolai) Fisher and Amanda (Chris) Peterson, grandchildren Brandon Fisher, Blake Fisher, Jasmine Fisher, Deanna Peterson, Victor Peterson, and Serenity Peterson.  Leroy's brother Arthur Brandt, and sisters Betty (Roger) Briggs and Virginia Winchell.  Patricia's brothers Pete (Linda) Balcom, Ken (Deb) Balcom, Harry (Yadira) Balcom, Jack (Nancy) Balcom, Rex (Kim) Balcom, Ron Balcom and sisters Dorothy Balcom, Michelle (Richard) Heiss, and Tina (Duane) Wirts.

A memorial talk will be held for LeRoy and Patricia Brandt on June 1st at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses 6381 Evergreen Dr, Newaygo, MI 49337 at 1pm.

A luncheon will follow at Loomis Lodge 142 Croton Dr. Newaygo, MI 49337
