Leonard Ralph Oram, 76, passed away from illness on February 5, 2017 with his family by his side in Holland, MI. He was born July 24, 1940, in Chicago, IL to John and Katherine Oram. He graduated from Austin High School in 1959 and then attended Illinois Institute of Technology for auto body and fender repair. After graduation he met and married Dorothy Jarosz, and subsequently they moved to Southwest Michigan. Len spent most of his life residing the areas of Plainwell, MI, Martin, MI and Allegan, MI. His marriage to Dorothy did not last, but their marriage produced two children. During his life, he was heavily involved in restoring antique cars and held various positions within the field of auto collision. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Katherine Oram, his sister Beverly, and his brother William (Bill). He is survived by his brother John (Marlene) Oram, son Leonard (Gaye) Oram, daughter Lori (Matt) Coleman and his grandchildren, Jeremy and Corey Oram along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the team at Resthaven in Holland, MI for their incredible care of Leonard for the past three years where he resided after a severe stroke. The will be no formal services.
