Leona Fay (Seeley) Corey) age 58 of Big Rapids, MI.  died December 24th 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

Leona is survived by her husband Robert Corey.  Her children Justin (Sabrinea) Lapham, Gatesville, TX., Brett (Mariah) Lapham, Beaverton, MI., Rachel (James) Ayers, of Stanton, MI., Also, surviving are 5 brothers Wilson Seeley, Virginia Beach, Rusty (Heide) Seeley of Germany, Perry (Pat) Seeley of Tecumseh, MI., Jon (Della) Seeley, Shepherd, MI., Duane Seeley of Midland, MI. 2 sisters Polly of TN., and Brenda (Bill) Champlin of Mt. Pleasant, MI. 11 grandchildren, Kara, Ellyssa, Carter, Kameron, Gabriel, Ethan, Adrian, Elleana, Blake, Kinsley and Braxton.

Leona loved reading her bible, praying and spending time with God.  She also enjoyed coloring, violin music, picking tiger lilies, watching soap operas and going on walks to see the beauty of God's creation. She was caring, spunky and silly and had such gentleness about her.  Leona had a beautiful smile and a positive attitude, especially throughout her health issues she endured for many years.  Most of all Leona loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Family meant everything to her.

Leona was preceded in death by her father and mother, Wilson and Barbara Seeley, her twin sister Lorraine, both Grandparents Lewis and Georgia Seeley and Raymond and Leona Shipley and many aunts and uncles.

Leona has been cremated and a burial service will be held at the Chippewa Township Cemetery on Broomfield Rd., Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, in the spring, with a dinner following at the Littlefield Outreach Center, Littlefield, Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI.
