(Bamberg) Schuur, Leni 1/7/1938 - 2/17/2016 Grand Rapids Leni (Bamberg) Schuur age 78, took her last breath with her daughters by her side and breathed her first breath of heaven in the arms of Jesus. She is now dancing with her husband of 41 years, Jetze George Schuur. Leni came to America from Winschoten, Netherlands by boat with her family at the age of 18. She learned to speak English by watching soap operas. She started a janitorial business in her twenties and didn't stop until she was 75. She will be dearly missed by her sister Dinie (Ike) Kiwiet and her 5 children, John (Susan) Hawes, David Hawes, Lisa (Scott) VanderHaar, DeNai (Marie) Hawes, Grace (Tory) Mihalik, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service in the chapel at The Lodge of Maplecreek at a date to be announced. The family is thankful for the staff at Maplecreek for their love and support.
