Lee David Scott, aged 91, passed away on August 17th , 2023. He is proceeded in death by his
parents, Irving and Mildred Scott, sister, Janet, and his daughter, Vicki. Lee is survived by his
wife, Joan, sons, Keith and David, 6 Grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Lee served in the Army during the Korean war. After being discharged he earned his college
degree from Wayne State University. He then worked as a civil servant for the City of Detroit for
30 years. Lee enjoyed many hobbies during his lifetime including camping, golfing, cooking,
painting, woodworking, genealogy, political activism, and volunteering for church activities. Lee
also had a quick wit and a wry sense of humor.

Lee's family would like to thank the Emmanuel Hospice and the Clark teams for their care and
compassion during Lee's time of need.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Lee on September 25th at 1:00pm in the chapel at Clark
Retirement Village Franklin, Grand Rapids. Attendees are requested to wear red in memory of
Lee's favorite color.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Association, Emmanuel Hospice, or
the Clark Foundation.
