Lee Ann Hammond may have been small in stature, but she was big in spirit. She lived life with joy, courage, and a deep love for the people and things that mattered most to her. Lee was born on August 24, 1966, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Lee loved the outdoors, especially trips to the lakeshore where she could relax and enjoy the beauty around her. She loved mushroom hunting, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with her husband and friends. She loved her dogs and had a contagious laugh that made moments feel lighter and better just by being there.

Family meant everything to Lee. She was an incredibly loyal and loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She shared more than 33 years of marriage with her husband, Shawn—a relationship marked by true friendship and unwavering commitment to one another. Their life together was full of shared memories, a lot of fun, and a genuine love that will last forever.

For more than two years, Lee fought ALS with remarkable courage and strength. She never allowed the disease to define her or diminish who she was. Even through the toughest days, her spirit and resilience remained unshaken.

Lee built meaningful relationships everywhere she went, including during her 26 years at Applied Innovation. She loved her work family and was proud to be part of such a great company, surrounded by strong leadership and wonderful people that she deeply respected and cared for.

Lee’s husband, Shawn, would like to sincerely thank everyone for the prayers and support during this difficult time. The outpouring of love has been overwhelming and truly incredible.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any local animal rescue in Lee’s honor.
