Our strong and courageous Kevin, 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, June 5, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Betty, daughter Danielle (Jeremy) Sidock, sons Kevin and Brandon, granddaughters Kaylee and baby girl Sidock, mother Kathleen Douglas, sisters Kathleen Bronson and Lynn (Gerald) Bulloch, brother Leon, many nieces, a grandnephew, and grandniece. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Douglas, grandmother Rosa Green, and baby boy Sidock. Kevin was a graduate of Western Michigan University, and he enjoyed a successful career at Amway. Kevin enjoyed boating, camping, watching Chuck Norris movies and most of all spending time with his family. His family would like to thank Dr. Elzinga along with everyone from the valet staff to the doctors at Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion and Butterworth Hospital for their support during his journey. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Ofield Funeral Home from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE Kentwood, MI 49508. Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary Magdalen on Thursday June 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation an hour prior. 1295 52nd ST SE, Kentwood, MI 49508.
