LaVerne Audy, ageless mother and wife. The best mom and lady. If you never knew her, perhaps you will one day in Heaven where she has joined our daddy, grandpa, and grandma. She is preceded by her husband Bill, and parents Ted and Rose Karrip. She lives on in her daughters, Elaine and Linda and beloved brother Eugene Karrip (Carolyn), and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Uncle Gene, she loves you and did what grandpa told her, "Look out for your brother!" Her favorite son, Father Michael Nasser. She loves you. We love you. You are our family, always. The funeral service for LaVerne will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Nasser at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2250 E. Paris Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49546. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to the service at church. LaVerne will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery during a private family interment. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church; to St. George Antiochian Church, 334 La Grave Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503; or to a charity of one's choice.
