Laverna J. Wyrick, age 93, passed away peacefully in her home Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Laverna, along with her husband, Bob, owned Wyrick's Photo Service. They were known for their fast five hour black and white processing of pictures. She enjoyed working in her yard and finding activities to keep her busy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wyrick. Surviving are her children, Robon Hilbrands, Mary Lou Funderburg, Robert (Christina) Wyrick Jr. and Cherie (Kelly Fugitt; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, with visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
