Laurie Ellen Teasley, 59, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019. Laurie Ellen Stormzand Teasley was born in Lansing Michigan on December 19, 1959, to Anthony and Carol (Denkema) Stormzand. Laurie was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2017 and succumbed to complications as a result on May 21, 2019. Her passions included wine, cooking and traveling with her devoted husband Eric to Isla Mujeres & Puerto Morelos, Mexico, Saugatuck, New Buffalo & Empire MI and the Napa Valley. She worked for many years at the Cascade Roadhouse, Kent Beverage, and most recently at the Crushed Grape - Knapps Corners. Laurie was both a certified 1st level Sommelier and a certified Master Gardener. Laurie is preceded in death by her brother Andy Stormzand. She is survived by her husband Eric Teasley; daughter Ashley Kloet; mother Carol (Denkema) Stormzand, grandchildren Alexis, Adelynn, Dawson; brother Geoff Stormzand and his wife Paige; sister Susan (Stormzand) Murphy and her husband Todd; sister-in-law Heather Stormzand; and her beloved Chocolate Labrador Fritz
