Larry Reed Looman, age 51, of Allegan, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, after a long battle with ongoing medical issues.

He was born on February 4, 1975, in Allegan, Michigan. Larry lived life in a way that brought him joy in simple things. He loved spending time on the water, fishing, browsing second-hand stores for hidden treasures, and trying his luck with scratch-off tickets. Larry was also known for his collection of hats, each one reflected a little piece of his unique personality. 

More than anything, Larry valued the people in his life, and he cherished the time he spent with family. 

Larry leaves behind his beloved son, Gabriel Looman (Jayla); his mother, Karen Stratton; his brother, LeRoy (Ronnie) Looman; his sister, Lisa (Danny) Wolbrink; his uncle, Brent Warner; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Looman; his uncle, Brian Warner; and his grandparents. 

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Larry's life on Thursday, July 23rd from 1:00-4:00pm at The River Church; 1652 Lincoln Rd, Allegan, Michigan 49010. This gathering will be an opportunity to share memories, stories, and honor Larry.
