Kristin Lynn Johnson, affectionately known as Kris by her loved ones, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on January 30, 1948, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kris spent her entire life in the city she adored, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends.

Kris was the beloved wife of Larry Johnson, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. Together, they raised their son Chad, who, along with his wife Blair, brought joy to Kris's life. Her role as a grandmother to Ava, Piper, and Cade was one she embraced with her whole heart, leaving them a legacy of unconditional love and treasured moments.

She is survived by her devoted sister Lori and her brother-in-law Dean Wagner, as well as her brother Steve Browder. Each family member held a special place in her life, and Kris's spirit of generosity and kindness touched them all deeply.

Kris's presence will be profoundly missed by those who knew her. Her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering support were the pillars upon which many relied. As we say goodbye to Kris, we also celebrate her life—a life lived with purpose, grace, and an enduring love for her family. Her memory will continue to be a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know her.

There will be no funeral services per Kristin's wishes. In Lieu of gift or flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or by donating at the Blood Bank in Kristin's name.
