Kris Larry Kunst, age 73, passed away on February 26, 2026.

Kris had a quick wit and enjoyed conversation. He liked staying busy with projects and took satisfaction in getting a job done. He had a longtime love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed exploring gadgets and new technology.

He is survived by his children, Ruth (DeZwaan) Doane and Jason Zahler; his mother, Kent Justus; and his brothers, Grant Bisel and Kent Kunst, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be remembered by those who knew him and shared time with him throughout his life.

A private gathering will be held at a later date.
