Kirt Allen Thomas of Grandville, Michigan, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. Kirt had a personality that would light up a room and fill it with laughter. He was a painter by trade and was very passionate about his work. He spent his free time playing golf, lounging with his dogs, and was just a happy-go-lucky guy who will be missed by many. Kirt is survived by his wife, Patricia; parents, Randy (Glenda) Thomas and step-dad, Bob Copron; sisters, Kim (Tim) DeGraaf, Tiffany (Ben) Jablonski, Tammy (Ryan) Schaendorf and many nieces and nephews. Kirt was preceded in death by his mother Karen Copron and beloved pets, Copper and Gracie. A memorial service will be celebrated by Pastor Sean Kidd at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to the service.
