Kim passed away peacefully on Thursday February 1st surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 9th 1957 to Claude and Rosalie Walter. Kim loved bonfires, taking pictures, and was very proud of her family. She was a very creative person, always crafting a personalized gift for family, friends, or coworkers. She worked at WAM Print | Mail | Fulfillment for the last 20+ years. She is survived by her loving partner of 15 years, Richard Marvin, her children Mike and Susan DeBoer, Cheryl DeBoer, Joseph and Jill DeBoer, Jessica and Robert Weber, David Marvin, and Robert Marvin, her brother Bob (Pam) Walter, grandchildren Justin, Fabian, Angelica, Zach, Kaiden, Hailey, Allison, and Chase. We would also like to acknowledge longtime family friends Sue and Bruce Phenix, Morgan Worden, and Heather Worden. And her work family at WAM. She was preceded in death by her father Claude Walter, sister Beth DeGroot, and mother in law Delores Marvin. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday February 10th at 11:00am at Northview Community of Christ Church 4875 Palenque St, NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525. There will be an opportunity for anyone who would like to share a story or a fond memory of Kim. There will be a luncheon after the service.
