Kevin Lee Kuelper, age 64, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Kevin was born in Kewanee, IL, on September 22, 1957, to Ronald and Mary (Byrd) Race. He worked as a truck driver for many years. People knew Kevin as an extremely hard worker who never complained. He was a happy go lucky man who enjoyed working in the yard, mowing, and cleaning up along 44th Street in Kentwood. He was a patient and caring "papa" to all of his grandchildren.
Kevin will be missed dearly by his wife of 37 years, Brenda (Taulbee) Kuelper; mother, Mary Race; children: Crystal (Jared) Snyder, Kimberly (Sean) Vogel, Levi (Allison) Kuelper, and Louis DeShane; 17 grandchildren; brother, Ronald Kuelper, Jr.; and his step-mother, Glenda Kuelper.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Kuelper and his brother, Neil Kuelper.
A memorial service will be held at Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2670 56th St SW, Wyoming, MI, on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with Bishop Garrett Smith presiding. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Service Details. Visitation
