Kenneth Leland Sanford, 72, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018. Kenneth was born on June 16th,1945, in Muskegon, Michigan to Burton and Martha (Hodgson) Sanford. After graduation at North Muskegon High School, he graduated from Ferris State University where he happened to meet the love of his life, Linda Fleischhauer. Together, they made a life for themselves on the west coast of Lake Michigan where they raised two lovely and accomplished daughters. Ken enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the insurance industry, working for Allstate and Priority Health before ending his career as an administrator at Fountain Street Church. Ken was a generous, kind, and loving individual who was passionate about his family and community. He was the epitome of integrity in his business and personal dealings. Ken is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Lisa Muller and Laurie Jared; and his grandkids, Emma, Abby, and Taylor Muller, and Maya and Ben Jared; and his sister Judy Sanford Coccaro. He was preceded in death by his parents Burton and Martha Sanford. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24th from 10 am until noon at Ofield Funeral Home (4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI).
