Kenneth Dean Foster, age 66, passed away April 25, 2019. Ken graduated from Berkley High School and earned his Master's degree in industrial education from Northern Michigan University (NMU). He became a professor of industrial education at NMU, and advanced into numerous roles in commercial construction. He owned and operated KD Foster & Associates, LLC. His hobbies included sailing, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his life-long friend / wife of 36 years, Gail Ann (Williams) Foster; loving sons Dean (Nicole Webb), Kenneth (Melissa), Chris (Jessica); his brothers Bob (Paige), Gary (Nancy), sister-in-law Pam, and brothers-in-law Dr. Richard Williams (Jill), Randy (Kim). His nieces and nephews Allison, Adam (Liz), Brian (Michelle), Mike (Alli), Jordan, Rob, Ryan, Sarah (Jeff), Lauren, Stephen, and Eric. There will be a celebration of life at Lake of the Pines (LOP) rec hall, 7257 Ashard Road, Lake, MI 48632 on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from noon until 4 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
