Kay Gammon Abbott,76, of Bangor MI passed away Nov. 9, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Kay was born Nov. 13, 1940 and spent most of her life in the Bangor area. She raised 3 sons Rod, Richard and Randy, that she loved very much. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jason(Abby), Aurora, Rory(Erin), Ryan, Dustin and 13 Great-grandchildren. Her brother Ken and sister Gloria. Along with her parents Kay went to join her grandchildren Travis and Jodi and her long-term partner George Ellis. Kay loved gardening(she had quite a green thumb) and feeding the birds. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing cards, socializing and keeping up on her community. Following her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Monks Cemetery Friday Nov. 24th at 3pm with a luncheon following at the Bangor American Legion Post 160.
