Kathryn (Kate) Beth Hascher (36) passed away at Mercy Lacks Cancer Center on July 7, 2020 of leiomyosarcoma. She was born to John and Suzanne (Tilli) Hascher on March 2, 1984. Kate graduated from Kenowa Hills High School and attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette. Kate loved the water, whether it be a hot tub or Lake Michigan's cool current. She was such a fountain for everyone to replenish their thirsts and spirits. Her positivity and open mindedness brought a plethora of souls closer together, regardless of how diverse her people are. Her laugh was infectious, and her boisterous voice will always be heard through her incredible singing. She especially adored her feline cohorts, Lola and Bkitty. She never allowed anyone to give into life's troubled waters and served as a lighthouse to guide us back to her favorite pier. She spoke to many and changed lives like it was her job. She is forever missed and lives in the hearts of everyone that had been blessed in her presence. Kate healed and helped the world and wants a cohesive strive for all humans to "Be Big, Love Big". Always remember that she's only a wave away. Kate is survived by her parents, John and Suzanne (Tilli) Hascher, sister CeCe (Drew Goebel), brother Andrew (Reba Rasch), niece and nephew Tilli & Thomas Hascher, Grandmother Mignon Moss Tilli and dear cousin Kristin Kluting. Aunts and Uncles Lisa (Tilli) Kluting, Beth (Todd) Ohman, Erik (Mindy) Tilli, Richard (Lynn) Hascher, Suzanne Herin, Mary Hascher, and Paul (Kathleen) Hascher. In addition to an abundance of friends and family she held near to her heart. She was preceded in death by her grandparent's Richard and Cecilia Hascher, Edward Tilli and Uncle Larry Herin. Due to Kate's wishes there will be not be a funeral or showing. A celebration of Kate's life is to be scheduled in months to follow.
