Karla Jo Stephan (age 59) passed away February 25th, 2018 early in the morning surrounded by her family, after almost a year long battle with gall bladder cancer. Karla was a very strong, loving, compassionate and helpful woman with a heart of gold. Karla loved her family and friends all very much! She was always very supportive of those around her, and continued to help anyone however she could. Karla was very thoughtful in everything she did in her life; she was always the first to send a card, lend a hand, or just let you know she was there for you. Karla's kindhearted spirit will always be with us, we will love her forever and always, she will truly be missed. At the request of Karla, cremation has taken place. Karla was preceded in death by her Mother Charlene Reid, and Husband Dave Stephan. Karla is survived by her Father Marshall, Sister Kim (Kevin), Brother Dan (Lisa), Son James (wife Megan), Grandson Sawyer, along with many other family members and friends. Karla's memorial/visitation will be held Saturday March 10, 218 from 2:30-5:00 pm (immediate family 2:00-2:30 pm) at the Allendale Town Hall, 6678 Lake Michigan Drive, Allendale, MI 49401. Karla's celebration of life will be held following the memorial at Kim Wolbrink's house, 1431 Amelia Ct., Marne, MI 49345.
