Karen D. Jacobson of Allendale MI, formerly Wyoming MI, aged 62 passed away peacefully and only after making her children laugh one last time, on June 5th, 2019. She was born to Joe and Betty Racine (Owen). Karen was the youngest of 4 children and a 1974 graduate of Godwin Heights High School. She was married to Louis Jacobson, had 3 children, 3 grandchildren and many others who had the privilege of calling her their second Mom. She enjoyed blessing others with her many baking talents and could often be found having coffee with friends and family at her kitchen table. She loved the beach, her animals, and a nice cold margarita when her medication allowed. Karen is survived by her husband of 30 years Louis Jacobson. Her Children Penny (Gary) Plowman, Louis Jacobson II, and Joseph Jacobson. In her mind most importantly, her beloved grandchildren Alanna Levanduski, Colten Plowman, and Aubrie Plowman. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Spectrum Downtown, U of M and the many Doctors and Nurses that she was privileged to see over the 3 years of her hard-fought cancer battle. There will be a time of visitation Sunday, June 9th, 2019 from 5-7 pm at Sunrise Ministries 7754 28th Ave Jenison MI 49428. Funeral Services will be held Monday June 10th at 2 pm with a visitation preceding the funeral at 1 pm, also at Sunrise Ministries with Rev. Lisa Batten and Paul Reissmann presiding.
