June Borr of Caledonia, Michigan, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. She was born to Benhard and Bertha Kruger on June 1, 1931, in Pollock, South Dakota. She married Dwain Borr in 1950 and they raised seven children. She was an avid homemaker, gardener and quilter. She was preceded in death by her husband Dwain; her son Leslie; and several siblings. June was survived by her children Nancy Terpstra, Brian and Mary Borr, Kelvin and Kay Borr, Wayne and Sue Borr, Mitch and Lorrie Borr, Clark and Janet Borr; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would also like to thank Faith Hospice for their care and compassion. There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. There will also be a one hour visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in June's name to the Area Agency on Aging of Western MI.
