Julie Anne (Newton) Pollie, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, August 31st, 2018 at her home with loved ones at her side. At the age of 61, Julie won her battle with cancer that she had fought for so long. She was born June 3rd, 1957 to Russell and Gwen Newton. Julie graduated from Creston High School in 1975. Julie has been a hard worker her whole life. She was preceded in death by her son, David Pollie and parents, Russell and Gwen Newton. She is survived by her children, Jason Pollie, and Lisa Pollie (fiancé Andrew Onan); granddaughters, Nautia Steketee and Makynlee Onan; siblings, Cindy (Kirk) Kutzli, Nancy (Scott) Thomas, Russ (Mary) Newton and Les (Lisa) Newton; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Per Julie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place on September 17, 2018 where you can meet with family and friends from 5:30 To 8 pm at the Rockford Sportsman's Club (11115 Northland Drive, Rockford MI 49341)
