Julie Gay (Yoder) Marietti, loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully in her home on December 28, 2021 surrounded by her family. Julie was born November 8, 1962, in Kalamazoo, MI. Julie is survived by her sister, Terry McNally; children, Rob (Andrea) Yoder, Gini (Chad) Huttenga, Keith (Kay) Butler and Jerrica Marietti; her fiancé, Robert Gibson; daughter-in-law, Kristina (Jeff) Grey; grandchildren, Landen, Tyler, Khalon, Lucas, Kalliope, Zoey, Blake, Odin, Caroline, Lincoln; and many nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by former husband, Anthony Marietti; her parents Howard and Maude Yoder; siblings Michael Yoder and Trudy Yoder. Julie worked at Borgess Ascension as a CCA and was a graduate of KVCC. Julie's life ambition was to make people feel loved and appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 4, 2022 from 4-6pm at Oshtemo Community Center, 6411 Parkview Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Visitation with the family will be held from 4-5pm followed by Celebration of Life service from 5-6pm. Refreshments are to follow the Celebration of Life Service at the Community Center."
