Judith Ann "Judy" White of Grand Rapids, MI (formerly of Freesoil, MI), age 74, passed away on October 19, 2019 in Grand Rapids, MI. She was born to Cecil and Alberta (Boomer) Miller on September 20, 1945, in Manistee, MI. Judy was the 5th of 9 children. She was a 1963 graduate of Freesoil High School, and received an Associate's degree from Davenport College, in Office Administration. After completing her education, she married Paul Long in 1963 and Judy and Paul had two sons, Mike and Scott, before they divorced. In 1974 she remarried to Joseph H. White Jr. and they had three sons, Joseph, Jason and Bryan. Judy loved her role as a mother and cherished it as one of her greatest accomplishments. Judy loved to watch TV, do crossword puzzles, read, and talk with her sons. Throughout her lifetime she lived and worked in various cities within the State of Michigan, before finally settling in Grand Rapids to be closer to her sons. Judy is survived by her sons Scott Long of Grand Rapids, MI, Joseph and Elaine White of Muskegon, MI, loving grandchildren Angelina, Alexzander, and Alexis, brother Ken Miller, and sisters Joyce Moran and Alice Berge. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, two sisters, 4 brothers and 2 grandchildren. Judy's family would like to extend their heartfelt Thanks to the medical, administrative and hospice staff at St. Mary's Hospital for the kindness and compassion they bestowed upon Judy, Scott and Joe during her final hours. A Memorial Service honoring Judy will be held on Sunday, November 3rd at 2:00pm, at The Salvation Army Church at 1221 Shonat St, Muskegon, MI 49442. Following the service there will be a luncheon and everyone is invited to gather with her family and share memories. Memorial gifts may be directed to the family in care of Joseph & Elaine White, 2564 Hall Rd. Muskegon, MI 49442. All gifts will be used towards her final expenses.
