Judith Ann Ter Horst of Grand Rapids (formerly of North Blendon) passed away at the age of 84 on Thursday, April 23, 2026. She was the first born of 10 children to Edward and Gertrude (Kloosterman) Hassevoort on September 6, 1941.

Judith was married to Kenneth Ter Horst of North Blendon on April 3, 1959.

She loved her family with everything she had in her. She also loved gardening, and flowers and plants were her passion.

Judy is survived by her daughter Evon Vargaz, siblings Karen (Gerald) Berghorst, James (Delores) Hassevoort, Loren (Linda) Hassevoort, Kathleen (Dwight) Vugteveen, Betty (Terry) Cooper, Paul (Sandy) Hassevoort, Mark (Lori) Hassevoort, 6 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons (Keith and Dan), her parents, and 2 brothers (Curtis and David).

There will be a memorial service on Monday, May 11 from 3-5pm at North Blendon CRC (7284 Taylor Street Hudsonville, MI 49426).
