Judith Priscilla Steensma (born Vonhof), age 83, died in Grand Rapids, Michigan on May 11, 2022. She was a graduate of Penfield High School, Penfield, New York. She completed the diploma of Nursing program through the Genesee Hospital in Rochester, New York and worked her whole career at Genesee Hospital before taking an early retirement.

Judith was an avid knitter/seamstress and talented volunteer piano player in the churches she attended. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James, their son, Andrew (Ann) Steensma, their daughters, Molly Persby, Jennifer (Paul) Steensma-Hoag, and Priscilla (Douglas) Higby, eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents (George and Susan Vonhof), a brother (Steve Vonhof), brother-in-law (David Bratt), son-in-law (Bruce Persby) and a great grandson (Dominic Zwiep).

Memorial service will take place July 22, 2022. Burial services will be private for immediate family at White Haven in Pittsford, New York.
