Joyce Ann Lyons, 71, passed away on the 5th of July, 2025, in Wyoming, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of friendship, faith, and dedication.

Born on Christmas Day, 1953, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Joyce grew up surrounded by a large, loving family, including her parents, Betty and Bernie Lyons, who preceded her in death, as did her Aunt Marie, sister, Kathleen Gill, and brother-in-law, Doug Gill. Joyce is survived by her siblings, Jim (Chris), Den (Virgi), Bob (Sally), Pat (Meg), Mike (Barb), Sue (Tom) Mueller, Gary (Tammy), Marilyn (Karl) Rinehart, and Rick (Nancy), together with many nieces and nephews who filled her life with joy. Joyce is also survived by her special friend, Ruth Norton.

Joyce graduated from Catholic Central High School and later earned her bachelor degree from Aquinas College. Having spent her professional life at Lowe's, Joyce formed lasting friendships with many of her co-workers. Joyce was an avid golfer and softball player, she also enjoyed visiting casinos from time to time. A devout Christian, Joyce was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church for 45 years.

A funeral mass will take place at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Thursday, July 10th at 11am. Visitation will be held one hour prior at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's honor may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic School.
