Josiah Christian Jones was born to Dominic Jones and Natasha Powell on August 14, 2015 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was the youngest of four children; the final piece to their beautiful puzzle.  Josiah loved playing video games with his family, watching TV, eating snacks and playing Gaga Ball at school. When we think of our Josiah we are reminded of the sweet, quiet, calm boy that loved babies, and being at home where he felt the safest.

He wasn't the best at communicating but we knew and felt his love by the way he hugged us.  Josiah's precious hugs, kisses, cuddles and races to the car with his brother and sisters will be greatly missed.

As we say our final goodbyes, let us hold onto the belief that love never dies, instead, it unites us eternally. In this time of profound loss, we find comfort in the beautiful moments we shared, the laughter, the tears, and the countless precious memories that live in our hearts.

To our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, you will forever be in our hearts; a cherished memory, a beautiful dream and a love that knows no end.

Josiah is survived by his parents, Dominic Jones and Natasha Powell; siblings: Jeremiah, Amira, and Kyndal Jones.  He is also survived by his Nana, Melita Powell; his aunts and uncles: Cicely Porter, John Powell, Jessica Powell, Chamelle Powell, Danielle Powell, Rueben (Adrienne) Powell, and Pearl (Charles) Robinson; in addition to a loving group of cousins that miss him. Josiah was preceded in death by his sisters: Diane and Siane Jones; his brother, Dominic Jones Jr.; and his Papa, Daniel Powell.
